To Read, To Live

When we read a story, we inhabit it.
The covers of the book are like a roof and four walls.
What is to happen next will take place within the four walls of the story.
And this is possible because the story's voice makes everything its own. (John Berger)

I have always loved to read. The classic novels, mysteries, suspense, and biographies were and are always a great way to immerse myself in someone's else's world, It began at a young age for me.

Traveling by train feeds this passion quite often, and makes the trips go by quickly. I am currently engrossed in a new discovery; the books of Michael Connelly. Specifically, his Harry Bosch saga. Very interesting -- and haunting -- stuff.

What are you reading these days?
